R&B duo Chemistry finally release their 5th album Face to Face after two years since Chemistry ’s last original full-length album Fo(u)r. This long-waited release comes with both new and known songs all together 14 tracks in this album Face to Face. To name a few of Chemistry ’s singles from the past two years that you can find on this album Face to Face includes Chemistry ’s year 2006 collaborations with Makihara Noriyuki 槇原 敬之 “約束の場所” and John Legend ”遠影Feat. John Legend“, their hit CM(Commercial) song”空の奇跡”, and their most recent single ”輝く夜”, written and composed by MONKEY MAJIK.

Music Video(MV):
輝く夜 Kagayaku Yoru A light-hearted song. This MV is recorded at a studio with an elephant standing behind while Chemistry are sitting on a log playing guitar and a tube-like musical instrument. There are scenes where they play with the elephant. So far I have not see a MV that includes an animal in it. At the end, there were many people from different countries(India, Egypt, USA, Malaysia, etc) wearing their costumes dancing while Chemistry is singing. And of course, the elephant is in this scene too!
遠影Feat. John Legend A slow song of Chemistry . In this MV, Chemistry is basically sitting or standing on a stone pillar. The background and surroundings are decorated with grass, flowers, tree, etc. The whole video is in dull color. I find it quite boring and I don’t see John Legend in this MV.
