Saying Numbers Let's first learn how to say numbers in Japanese before we head on to count things, money and saying the time in Japanese. For 1 to 99, single digit to double digits, the words to read/write/say are very standard and clear-cut with no change at the back of the word. However for numbers in hundreds, there are 3 different kinds Japanese words behind the number; hyaku, byaku, pyaku. Read on and you will understand what i am taking about. Here we go~
