J-pop diva Koda Kumi(こだくみ 倖田來未) returns with her new single MOON. This single MOON comes with a total of 8 tracks which consist of the original version and the instrumental version of the songs Moon Crying, That Ain't Cool, Once Again and Lady Go!.The main song on this release is the ballad Moon Crying which has received many positive feedbacks. Moon Crying is also the theme song for the ABC TV Asahi drama Puzzle. Fans can also look forward to the groovy up-tempo tune That Ain't Cool, on which Koda Kumi(こだくみ 倖田來未) collaborated with Fergie from the American hip hop, pop and rap group Black Eyed Peas. It was written and composed by Japan's high caliber reggae artist Pushim.
The Japan version of this single Moon comes with a DVD that contains music videos, including That Ain't Cool featuring Fergie which is directed by Fatima Robinson, plus the making of the footage.

The storyline of this MV is good and it makes me feel like I'm actually watching a short trailer of a Japan drama. The story started with Koda Kumi(こだくみ 倖田來未) awaking up from sleep and unable to find the guy. Arrows were formed using her cosmetics stuff that points to a yellow dress which the guy wants Koda Kumi(こだくみ 倖田來未) to wear. Koda Kumi(こだくみ 倖田來未) seems unhappy about it and did not wear the yellow dress during the event. The guy was unhappy and they quarrelled at the event. Moving on, was the flashback of what happened since then. Koda Kumi(こだくみ 倖田來未) was trying to send sms out to the guy but failed. There were many unsend sms to the guy. These messages were unable to reach the guy forever. As she imagines regretfully of what it would have been if she wore the yellow dress, she broke down; unable to let go.
Watch it though its slightly more than 6 minutes!
I have to admit, this MV and song were so great that it brings tears in my eyes whenever I was watching and hearing it. Now, This song has became 1 of my favourite songs. I must say Moon Crying is a must-listen song!
As you can see, i personally feel that Koda Kumi(こだくみ 倖田來未) acting skills has improved.
This is a pretty simple MV, with Koda Kumi(こだくみ 倖田來未) and Fergie dancing back to back and some solo scenes of each one of them. No storyline at all.
Personally and truthfully speaking, I don't like this MV and song at all.
I can't hear much of Koda Kumi(こだくみ 倖田來未) voice; mainly heard Fergie's voice throughout the whole song. Besides, the appearance of both, Koda Kumi(こだくみ 倖田來未) and Fergie, are equally the same. This shouldn't be the way right? Because this is suppose to be Koda Kumi(こだくみ 倖田來未)FEAT FERGIE and not the other way round.
Oh... by the way, this is an English song; not even half Japanese and half English song. Still prefer the combination of Ito Yuna and Celine Dion though.
